JDA Software and Carlson Hotels to Present at Eye for Travel?s Travel Distribution Summit North America 2011
JDA Software and Carlson Hotels to Present at Eye for Travel’s Travel Distribution Summit North America 2011
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) September 19, 2011
The strongest demand rebound ever in the U.S. hotel industry took place in 2010, yet in 2011, improvement in the average daily rate remains elusive. The industry faces multiple challenges: a growing dependency on online travel agencies, as well as a new generation of mobile-enabled consumers ready to take advantage of instant price transparency and alerting. Now, not only can customers find the lowest rate, but the lowest rates can find the customers!
To help organizations win today’s hotel price wars and grow profits, JDA® Software Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: JDAS), The Supply Chain Company®, and customer Carlson Hotels will share the success behind a new revenue optimization paradigm as part of a panel at Eye for Travel’s Travel Distribution Summit 2011 in Las Vegas. The panel is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 2:00 p.m. PDT at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Now in its 13th year, Eye for Travel’s Travel Distribution Summit 2011 brings together travel industry experts to share best practices, network, and gain additional knowledge on the four key cornerstones of online travel: distribution, revenue management and merchandising, mobile strategies and social media and marketing.
JDA Session Details
Bill Kotrba, vice president of industry strategy at JDA Software and customer Fred Deschamps, vice president of revenue generation at Carlson Hotels will present “Innovate and Differentiate with Advanced RM Strategies & Technologies” at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, Sept 20.
Deschamps and Kotrba will share the success behind Carlson Hotel’s new revenue optimization project called Stay Night Automated Pricing (SNAP). SNAP represents a new paradigm in revenue optimization that unites the historically separate activities of pricing and revenue management. The presentation will reveal how price optimization, demand forecasting and elasticity measurement are key to competing successfully and winning the hotel price wars, and why traditional solutions no longer solve the right problems for today’s hospitality industry.

Why You Need To Be Careful When Trading Options
Let’s pretend that you are thinking about a brand-new technology organization that has invented a new type of know-how, like an MP3 player or some equivalent variety of gadget. You’re really impressed using their new product or service, and you believe that the company is well-managed and features a terrific likelihood of turning into an very profitable venture. If you are keen on obtaining a bit of the action, you may only get the most direct route and attain a specified amount of shares in the company.
In the event the shares in query are selling at 0 apiece, by way of example, you could possibly order them only at that cost and observe them develop significantly to, say, 0 per share. This can be an excellent investment with a tidy profit, even while you subtract any applicable brokerage fees and money gains taxes.
Whilst this can be an a lot more uncomplicated or direct technique, you may also determine to obtain involved with choices investing rather of getting the stock outright. You could possibly execute or buy a call solution which provides you the capability to order shares on the organization at a specified value within a particular period. Being an example, picture an individual or corporation offering you a call solution could stipulate that at any time while in the subsequent 6 months, you’ll be permitted to purchase the stock at 0 per share. As a swap for your privilege of acquiring a call choice, you may really have to spend a sure fee, such as per share in advance.
]]>
If everything goes in accordance to prepare plus the share prices shoot straight approximately 0 inside of a couple of months, you’d have manufactured quite a little of funds though your original investment was just two bucks per share! To determine your profit, you’d simply just subtract the authentic selling price of the shares (within this scenario, 0) in the present-day price tag of 0. You’d probably also need to subtract the cost of the phone call option itself, which we explained was two dollars per share. Obviously, you’d probably have produced really a bit of dollars about this investment.
So what is the issue with purchasing these kinds of solutions? Well, obviously the above example could be every single investor’s dream, but inside real world issues are substantially far more volatile (which indicates you could possibly are in position to shed really a bit of revenue).
It is best to take into account that the call possibility can be a gamble rather than a good investment inside a promising corporation. You happen to be playing with the short-term good and the bad on the stock market place and not to the long-term possible of an offered corporation. If you have been to maintain onto the shares for several years or maybe more, this provider could enhance its income (and consequently, the value of the shares) many occasions over. You’ll have misplaced out on this with what exactly is in quick, a short-term gamble.
Though this should be obvious to any prudent investor, there is certainly simply no guarantee that the value from the stock will rise while in the expression of one’s call alternative. Your first investment (the cost of the phone call choice per share) can be lost if the stock values didn’t enhance as expected.

I see a trade option in your backpack, but that requires a friend in order to do so. So im wondering how to trade with other online players. Also, can you gift people too? Main Menu > Manage Items > Trade (Box at the bottom right) > Current Server.
You can then trade with anyone on the server you are playing.
You can also gift simply by not offering anything. Say you want my Sydney Sleeper for free. I offer my Sydney Sleeper and click the ready button. You offer nothing, and click the ready button.
All goes well, and you got a free Jarate Launcher.

This is a very broad question on which many books have been written. You will not get full answers here. Read some books on options trading, learn the math, and then start on a small scale until you feel comfortable. Buying options is more risky than writing them.

What is Forex Trading Options?
For a lot of people today, having just one source of income isn’t enough to sustain a good life. A secondary job or investment goes a long way in improving a person or family’s life. This has led to millions of people look to Forex Trading as the answer to their financial needs. But the truth about the Foreign Exchange market is that more people loss their money in trading foreign currencies compared to those who have become very successful. For some, the answer to this problem is to use options.
A lot of people are not familiar with what an option is. Basically, this is a financial contract of sale between two parties. What makes this different is that fact that the contract does not create an obligation to purchase, rather it gives the right to purchase the goods stated therein. In other words, the buyer of the contract has exclusivity to the goods for sale. The price of these goods will not change even if the market goes up, thus it gives the buyer a definitive advantage. He or she risks only a small amount of money to gain control over the currency for sale although it is only for a limited amount of time.
What makes options very tempting in Forex Trading is the fact that risk management becomes easier and more manageable. It allows the trader to make money easier. However, the buyer should still be very careful and predicting the market still plays an important role for this strategy to be successful.
